33 on Bree

33 on Bree was a mixed-use redevelopment of a series of buildings designed to reflect one cohesive building spanning a whole city block. This project won the 2016 SAPOA Innovative Excellence award.

33 on Bree consists of a series of existing buildings and façades spanning a whole city block. Theaccommodation is varied and comprises ground floor retail, first to eight floors parking and offices, and ninth and tenth floors offices and/or apartments.

The design challenge was to reflect a cohesive building incorporating inherited façades and to respond sensitively to the surrounding heritageof the city.

Sunscreening and signage has been explored in creative ways in response to the client brief.

This project won the 2016 SAPOA Innovative Excellence Award for best office project.
