The dramatic roof slopes down to the north to allow for the installation of solar power. Inside, at the back of the hangar, is a 3 storey building comprising:
Workshops, tool and equipment stores on the ground storey
Change rooms and showers, canteen, maintenance offices and meeting rooms on the first storey

There is the opportunity for a third storey should the need arise for crew quarters
