KMH Architects won an invited design competition between three large practices to design a new African head office for Jindal Africa, an international mining company headquartered in India.


The new 4 000 m² head office sits on a prominent site on William Nicol Drive in Bryanston, Johannesburg, and is designed around the Vastu Shastra philosophy.

 

The exterior architecture combines stone clad walls, angular concrete structural columns and soaring curved structural steel features into astrong and deliberate design concept which unites the image of mining, the company’s history and its global reach.
