Livewell Dementia Care
Livewell Phase 1 is the expansion of the Livewell Dementia care facility by Esteves and Associates in Bryanston. The purpose of the new addition of the building was to tie into the facilities vision to provide dignified dementia care with peace of mind. The new expansion of Livewell is an addition of 20 bedroom and bathroom units with a common Dining area with admin and service wings. The building is 872m2 designed using courtyard typology which creates ideal indoor and outdoor spaces for healing. The initial concept of the building was to touch the earth lightly which is why the units have been split into wings to fit within the existing landscaping without disturbing the ecology of the space.
